Engagements

The 2024-2025 season features Ms. Henly’s début at The Metropolitan Opera as one of the Niñas in their new production of Golijov/Hwang’s Ainadamar. She will also return to South Florida Symphony as soprano soloist in Mozart’s Requiem, appear as a featured soloist in The Twisted World of Christian De Gré Cárdenas at 54 Below, and make her role and company debut as Berta in The Barber of Seville with Minnesota Opera.

Combining features of both an opera and a passion, Ainadamar, features a libretto by David Henry Hwang. Company-debut production by director and choreographer Deborah Colker, conducted by Miguel Harth-Bedoya.

Ms. Henly appears in a workshop presentation of Macbeth and the Weïrd Sisters for NEXT Festival 2023. Singer/guitarist Andrew Wilkowske and librettist Kelley Rourke’s audacious take on the Verdi opera and Shakespeare’s tragic story of ambition reimagines the score for a rock band, replacing classical strings with electric guitars and envisioning Macbeth as the front man/lead singer of “Macbeth and the Weïrd Sisters,” a 70’s and 80’s-style arena rock band. Directed by Peter Rothstein, with Music Direction by Lara Bolton.
